Prevent Needlesticks
Needlestick and sharps-related injuries pose significant health risks to healthcare professionals, especially in high-pressure environments like emergency departments, ICUs, and outpatient clinics. This course provides essential training on the causes, prevention strategies, and post-exposure protocols for needlestick injuries in clinical practice. Through current OSHA guidelines, real-world examples, and evidence-based strategies, learners will build awareness and competence to reduce their risk and respond effectively if an exposure occurs.
