Our Story
About us
After 20 years of working in the military and different hospitals, I decided to try my skills at education sector.
After 20+ years of military and hospital experience, Kevin Stansbury brought his clinical expertise into education—determined to raise the bar in healthcare training. Alongside him, Ms. Paat—a visionary leader and champion for equity—turned that mission into movement. Together, they are the dynamic duo behind MoreThanCEUs.com and MoreThanCPR.com, and the founders of Central Valley Medical Education (CVME).
They don’t just teach nurses—they teach all medical professionals, educators, first responders, and community members who want to grow their skills and save lives. From trauma bays to classrooms to boardrooms, Kevin and Ms. Paat blend frontline grit with executive vision to deliver powerful, practical, and purpose-driven education that changes lives.
Their shared passion is simple: build better professionals, stronger communities, and a healthier future.
Our Story Starts in early 1996
when Ms. Paat and Kevin Stansbury crossed paths at the American Red Cross in Los Angeles—both training to become CPR instructors. From that first spark of shared purpose, a powerful partnership was born.
In 1998, they relocated to Fresno, California. Ms. Paat dedicated herself to serving as a special needs educator for Madera County, while Kevin worked on the frontlines as a trauma nurse in the region’s busiest emergency departments.
Driven by a shared vision to improve healthcare education in their community, they founded Central Valley Medical Education (CVME) in 2009. What started as a local training site has grown into a mission-driven movement—now expanding through MoreThanCEUs.com and MoreThanCPR.com to serve healthcare professionals, educators, and everyday heroes across the country.
Together, Ms. Paat and Kevin are more than just co-founders. They are a dynamic duo blending clinical grit with educational heart—committed to building a better, smarter, more compassionate healthcare future for all.

Online Learning is the Future of Education
The rapid growth of technology has transformed every aspect of our lives, and education is no exception. Online learning has emerged as a powerful, flexible alternative to traditional classroom instruction. It removes geographical barriers, giving students access to world-class educators, resources, and courses from anywhere in the world. For busy professionals, parents, and non-traditional learners, the ability to learn on their own schedule—without the constraints of a fixed timetable—makes education far more accessible and equitable. Additionally, advances in interactive platforms, video conferencing, and AI-driven feedback systems allow for highly engaging, personalized learning experiences that rival in-person instruction.
Moreover, online learning prepares students for the digital economy by integrating tech-savvy habits into the educational process. From mastering virtual collaboration tools to accessing global forums and simulations, students develop real-world skills that are increasingly demanded in modern careers. Institutions and educators are now leveraging online platforms to offer blended learning models, micro-credentialing, and lifelong learning pathways that align with workforce needs. As we move further into the 21st century, online learning isn’t just a temporary solution—it’s the foundation for a more inclusive, adaptable, and future-ready education system.
